After the long meeting on Tuesday, which lasted several hours with Oliver Glasner, AC Milan are preparing to meet another candidate for the managerial role, also suggested by Ralf Rangnick, the current head coach of Austria whom Gerry Cardinale would like to entrust with the club’s technical area: this is Matthias Jaissle, another protégé of the German coach.
If Glasner is available after recently leaving Crystal Palace, Jaissle is still under contract with Al-Ahli, which makes the deal far from straightforward: the German coach, who previously coached RB Salzburg, earns 11 million euros and has a release clause set at 6 million. This was reported by the Italy-based newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition.
