During 'Calciomercato - L'Originale', transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about Glasner, Rangnick, and the negotiations regarding their possible move to AC Milan. These were his words:
"AC Milan are certainly working behind the scenes. The only thing I can say with some confidence is that there have been continuous and in-depth contacts with Glasner. If I had to say today who is the coach closest to joining Milan, it would be him, although I don't know whether a final decision has already been made."
"The decision belongs to Cardinale and Ibrahimovic, because the latter is always involved in the discussions. Glasner has made himself available; now it is up to Milan to decide whether to make a decisive move. His arrival would also be independent of Rangnick, because it's not as if Glasner cannot coach Milan without the Austrian."
"The issue now is whether Rangnick arrives or not, not whether Glasner arrives or not. Rangnick has asked for very broad autonomy, which probably at the moment clashes with Ibrahimovic's desire to be more involved in the club's decision-making."
