AC Milan are starting again with Ruben Amorim. While awaiting new appointments in the club's management, the Rossoneri have announced the arrival of the Portuguese coach, who will replace Massimiliano Allegri.
The objective for the new season is to finish at least in the top four in order to return to the Champions League, reignite the fans' enthusiasm, and try to replicate the successful seasons Amorim enjoyed at Sporting Lisbon. Amorim was one of the candidates for the Rossoneri bench, but not the only one; after conducting several interviews with multiple coaches, the club ultimately settled on him.
Amorim and Milan: the contract details:
The contract runs for three years and expires in June 2029. The agreement also includes an option to extend it by a further season, potentially pushing the expiry date to 2030. Amorim's salary is around €3.5 million per year, with additional bonuses available: specifically, €500,000 if the team qualifies for next season's Champions League, and €1 million if he wins the league title. This was relayed via Calcio Mercato.
