The Goretzka saga seems never-ending. The midfielder, currently representing Germany at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is looking for a new club after his contract with Bayern Munich expired. As AS reports, although the 1995-born player is no longer linked with AC Milan in the transfer rumours, his move elsewhere could still work in Milan's favour, as relayed via Milan Press.
The former Bayern player has been offered to Atlético Madrid, one of Milan's rivals in the pursuit of Morten Hjulmand of Sporting Lisbon. With Los Colchoneros very likely to give the green light to Goretzka's move to Spain, they would no longer be contenders for the highly sought-after Danish midfielder, who has been specifically requested by Ruben Amorim.
