After Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila, Ruben Amorim has now asked for reinforcements in the attacking midfield area, where he would like a player who is technically gifted, strong in one-on-one situations, and preferably young. Milan are particularly considering two talents, both born in 2007: Kerim Alajbegovic of Bayer Leverkusen and Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk. Can Uzun also remains on the radar, but Eintracht Frankfurt are demanding a high fee, reportedly €50 million, for his transfer.

Ibrahimovic recommends Alajbegovic to AC Milan
According to this morning’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Alajbegovic was primarily recommended by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was impressed by his performances at the World Cup with Bosnia. After the player scored against Qatar, the Swedish legend praised him highly and declared that a new star had emerged. The young Bosnian forward, who is coming off an excellent loan spell at Salzburg, has a more affordable price tag compared with the other targets, estimated at around €25 million.
Milan set to make contact with Genk for Karetsas:
Karetsas has a higher valuation, at least €35 million, but he appears to be the Rossoneri club's preferred choice because those at Casa Milan consider him a future star and believe he is an investment that must be made now in order not to miss the opportunity to sign him. In other words, Milan either secure him now or they may never have another chance. Contacts with Genk are expected next week to assess whether the deal is feasible, particularly from a financial perspective.
