Torino president Urbano Cairo was also present today at the funeral of Milan’s legendary captain Franco Baresi. He shared his tribute with La Gazzetta dello Sport:
“A humble champion, an example of elegance and class, both in victory and defeat. An incredible role model for everyone. He represented a type of football that no longer exists. The fact that so many people are here today, on 4 August, shows just how much of a symbol he was.”
