AC Milan club technical area director, Paolo Maldini, spoke to Milan TV microphones once the match against Hellas Verona ended.
Here are his words:
"With the enthusiasm that is around us, it is an important thing to try to find tranquility. It was a match, unlike the one in Rome (against Lazio), which started very well, we dominated for the first 20-25 minutes, we were also able to take the lead but unfortunately it was a millimeter offside."
He added:
"If you are not ready, you could go onto a crisis. When there are so few games left and you see the finish line, if the team is not mature enough to react in the right way you can also lose the distance, the measures and your head. So, really, congratulations, everything that was asked of them was done, even the ones who entered from the bench."
Paolo Maldini concluded:
"If there is a near goal? Close because there are two games left. Are they easy? No, just like this game was not easy. I saw Atalanta today, they are a team still alive, still playing in Europe and full of players of the highest level. But let's play at San Siro, certainly a full stadium. So certainly great pressure for us, but we will manage it."
