Jorge Mendes is becoming increasingly central and influential in AC Milan’s transfer market dealings. After having played a key role in the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos at the Rossoneri, who, it should be recalled, will be the most expensive signing in the club’s history, the Portuguese agent is now also working on departures, two in particular, as relayed via Corriere della Sera.
The first concerns Santiago Giménez, who is admired in Portugal, at Porto. The second is Rafael Leão, who is said to have confirmed his intention to leave Milan despite the arrival on the bench of a compatriot, namely Ruben Amorim. Meanwhile, the club is delivering to the Portuguese coach the striker he requested, in a deal that, including all bonuses, could come close to €80 million.
