AC Milan are approaching the end of the season still fully in the race for a Champions League spot. Once the league campaign is over, it will be time to make final assessments about the club’s future and its organisation. Several possible scenarios are emerging, along with different ideas for the club’s future management. Among the options that RedBird’s ownership could consider for the sporting director role is Viktor Bezhani.
Bezhani is known for his eye for talents...
Currently the sporting director of Toulouse, another club within the RedBird group, Bezhani has stood out for his excellent work in developing and increasing the value of young talent. Under his management, the French club has focused on promising players who were later sold for significant fees. During the last summer transfer window, for example, Bezhani completed the sale of Jaydee Canvot to Crystal Palace for €23 million, and he currently has several highly promising young players in the squad, such as goalkeeper Restes and full-back Methalie, both of whom have attracted considerable interest.
His approach and the work he has done in France are highly appreciated by RedBird, which is why Bezhani could become a realistic option for AC Milan’s sporting department. However, the club will first need to wait until the end of the season before deciding which direction it intends to take.
